Today's look is inspired by Prada FW2015 which came to me through a little pressie from my husband. The collection features in Amica Magazine which he got from a street vendor around the corner from us.
Straightening my hair the lazy way. Oops! :O
Here I iron straight over dry, curly hair; not the smoothest or most polished finish but I'll be changing my look tomorrow so it doesn't need to last long.
Wow! It's been so long since I've straightened my hair - I barely recognise myself.
Take a section from ear to ear and put in a high pony tail, catching the ends to create a topknot.
Fan out the topknot to create a chignon and close off the outside edges by pinning them to the base.
Take the remaining section up into a high ponytail and secure. If my hair was one length and not heavily layered through the top this look could be done with one section leaving out the ends and sweeping them off to the side.
Like so.
Apply Foundation with Sigma Kabuki brush is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk mixed with Ben Nye cream stick foundation in white to lighten off. Powder down with Mac mineralize skin finish natural in light.
Apply blush to the cheek bones and apples with Mac Pinch O Peach and Well Dressed.
Eye shadow is blush baby lightly applied the sockets. Fill in brows with firm angle brush using eyeshadow in Mac Haux. Lip is Mac Pretty Please, lightly powdered down. Mascara in black is very lightly applied and combed out.
Finish off with a fully legit Prada broach that I scored for 1 Euro from a local market.
