Earlier this year I did the hair and makeup for a Bollywood film clip. It was a slick team of cameramen, producers, musicians and talent and all of us were led by Saloni, the Creative Director and stylist on set. There’s nothing like the summer months to inspire a little affection. With this seasons dreamy details and flowing drapes, to the Grecian influences, there is a distinct breeze of romance in the air that will be sure to whisk and steal anyone’s heart away. This Summer get ready to float on a cloud of soft, pastel coloured fabrics; greys, dusty pinks, beiges, nudes, pale blue and creamy creams. The look has the feeling of soft satins and flowing chiffons, whether it be in a mini, midi, maxi dress or any other style that makes you feel fantastic - let there be love!
My suggestions: avoid chunky, sculptured and statement pieces; accessorize your soft romantic summer look with complimentary fine, delicate accessories.
